Adult Members

A dedicated group of volunteers

The 1st Hague Scout Group is run by a dedicated group of volunteers. Many of them are parents of our youth members and volunteer because they’ve seen first hand how Scouting benefits young people and want to give something back.

Scouting is a voluntary movement that relies upon adults and young people working together to achieve its aims.  Without adult support the sections simply won’t exist and with the highly mobile population we have in The Hague we are always looking to the future, as well as the present, and seeking to recruit and develop adult helpers, both uniformed and non-uniformed.  The basic training takes only a few hours and is completed online with follow-up ’on-the-job’ development thereafter.  You are able to commit to as much or as little involvement as you feel comfortable with.
