We are 1st The Hague Scout Group. We’re based in Voorschoten, the Netherlands and provide everyday adventure through scouting activities to young people in and around The Hague, Netherlands.

We welcome all English-speaking 6-18 year olds holding a nationality other than, or in addition to, Dutch, who would like to join us, and any resident of the Netherlands over 18 who would like to volunteer to help bring the adventure of Scouting to young people.

Because of World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) agreements, we’re unable to offer membership to anyone between 6 and 18 years old who only holds Dutch nationality. You should consider joining Scouting Nederland instead.

Our Scout Group aims to have four active section that cater to different age groups:

• Beaver Scouts – 6 to 8 years
  Beavers is currently inactive due to a lack of adult volunteers.
• Cub Scouts – 8 to 10½ years
• Scouts – 10½ to 14 years
• Explorer Scouts – 14 to 18 years

Our Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers have weekly meetings, go camping and follow programmes developed by the British Scout Association. The group is part of the Northern Europe District of British Scouting Overseas and has active links with scout groups in Belgium and Luxembourg.
