Remembrance Day is a time to pause and reflect on the courage and sacrifice of those who served in wars and conflicts to protect our freedom and peace. It’s a moment to honour the men and women who gave their lives in service, and to remember the importance of working together for a more peaceful world. Wearing a poppy or taking a moment of silence reminds us that their sacrifice should never be forgotten.

Today 1st The Hague Scouts took part in the Annual Commonwealth Remembrance Service. We were deeply honoured to be invited to lay flowers on the graves during this year’s ceremony, hosted by the Canadian Embassy. Scouts, Explorers, and Leaders proudly represented our group, finding the service both a moment of personal reflection and a meaningful opportunity to honour the members of the armed forces who gave their lives in service.
